Q: What kind of truck do we need?
A: Minimum truck requirements is a 9500 GVW for our 38D model. Truck size should always be matched with the client's requirements in terms of usage, accessories, other equipment and safety standards required by law.
Q: Is there any interference with wireless remote controls when 2 trucks are working together?
A: No, not at all, every wireless remote control has its own and unique address which correspond to the motherboard command. This way you could have 5 trucks working aside and every remote control would recognize its own unit.
Q: Do we need outriggers?
A: It depends of the ladder model you choose and the regulations required by law. Ladder models 38D and 41 do not require outriggers under normal usage; only a stability test will determine if outriggers are required or not based on the model of ladder you choose. These tests are part of our standard procedures.
Q: Do we need a second battery to operate the ladder?
A: As far as the ladder is concerned you do not need a second battery. The second battery is optional depending on your requirements.
Q: How long does it take to install a ladder on a truck?
A: Installation of the ladder on a truck is a question of hours once the truck is ready to get the ladder. Under normal circumstances, including preparation for the inside frame, it takes about a week.
Q: What is your delivery schedule for a new ladder?
A: It always depends on the preparation of the truck in terms of additional equipment and accessories. Generally it takes about 3 to 4 weeks. The addition of custom equipment and accessories may extend this period.
